LinkedIn: A Hidden Gem

LinkedIn is one platform that I have never thought to consider as a type of social media. Personally, I have never been on LinkedIn until this year when I began applying for summer internships for the first time. I also had no idea that LinkedIn had so many tools and benefits, the only thing I have done on the site is search for jobs, but there is so much more to it!

LinkedIn is the worlds largest professional networking tool, used not only for people to apply for jobs but also to interact with businesses and advance their careers. LinkedIn was founded with the purpose of people being able to take control of their professional lives. 

In the rest of this blog, I am going to delve into some of the hidden benefits that LinkedIn brings to the table both businesses and employees.
